Right now ...I want to read/listen to this, also.

Right now I'm reading "The Lost Boy" by David Pelzer. It's his account of years in foster care.

I'm also reading "The Connected Child" by Dr. Karyn Purvis. It's a how-to for parents with kids from the hard places. Love it.

And...Preparing your Daughter for Every Woman's Battle" by I can't remember.

And then there's a million blogs. :-)

I love to read AND I have trouble staying on task. :-) Steve just teased me this morning about the safety hazard of my stacked up bedside table.

One more book couldn't hurt.

Love,
JulieMamita Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15008835660518360884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7628122353538110199.post-79121840634665391472010-07-15T13:06:40.246-07:002010-07-15T13:06:40.246-07:00Well, today I'm reading post-op instructions f...Well, today I'm reading post-op instructions for ear tube surgery. :) Thankfully all went well and Nadia is playing and acting like we never spent the morning at the hospital.

Other than that, I need to be reading over the material for the "Promised Land Living" class I'll be facilitating on Saturday!

KristinKristin Fergusonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13420096126951493195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7628122353538110199.post-36623143876478485432010-07-15T09:17:38.643-07:002010-07-15T09:17:38.643-07:00I am going to check this out too. I am glad that I have a reference, but personally love the sermons more. You can hear the passion and feel the conviction more. They challenged me and my husband as well, and he voiced a lot of things that have burdened my heart for a long time, but I have not heard from the pulpit, at least with this much passion. "To live for Christ and to die is gain" should be the goal after you go through this experience. I thank God for using David Platt to challenge our family more.Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00107870813326451507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7628122353538110199.post-13066402672803541972010-07-15T05:19:25.232-07:002010-07-15T05:19:25.232-07:00I'm reading The Peace Maker: A Biblical Guide...I'm reading The Peace Maker: A Biblical Guide to Resolving Personal Conflict by Ken Sande. The more we're following God, the more conflicts that seem to arise from others that don't agree with my husband's and my decisions. But we know that when we choose to follow God, and not the world, that's just going to happen. Now, we need to know how to handle situations in a Biblical manner...great book!Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15521167090058001464noreply@blogger.com
